Restored classic car which lay rusting for 25 years is expected to fetch up to £450,000 at auction
It once won its owner top prize in a classic car show at Goodwood, but was later left rusting in a Welsh lockup for 25 years.But now the Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A found with its body work corroded and headlights, bumpers and Eagle mascot missing is expected to fetch between £370,000 and £450,000 after being carefully restored by a Danish collector.Considered the last word in Italian luxury car making, the Isotta Fraschini was found in a garage in Borth, near Aberystwyth, by expert Michael Worthington-Williams.
