She negotiated a deal on the car, and she’s still driving it 38 years later.
The owner of this 1977 Cadillac Seville could not be classified as a car collector, or a car nut, as we sometime refer to car enthusiasts. This is not a car that sits under a dust cover in a garage and is driven only to car shows or special events. But it isn’t accurate to say this is the owner’s daily driver, even though it is her only car.Lafayette resident Margaret (Peggy) Harbarth, 95, only drives her 106,000-mile Cadillac three or four times a month to the supermarket or post office; otherwise it rests peacefully in her garage.
Photo is not the actual car.
