Families flock to classic car show in Swansea in May Day Bank Holiday
CLASSIC and cruising car enthusiasts turned out in force at Singleton Park as families across South West Wales got out and about for the May Day Bank Holiday.Around 800 vehicles were on display at the classic show in Swansea, which attracted fantastic crowds.Joint organiser Keith Turner, director of Swansea Historic Vehicle Register, said: “The car park at the school (Bishop Gore) was absolutely bursting, and I think they filled the overflow. It was a darned good turnout.”Mr Turner said a large chunk of the show area yesterday was dedicated to Fords of all ages and descriptions.
Also looking shipshape were a 1932 three-wheeler Morgan, MGs, Jaguar XJs, Austin A30s, plus several motorcycles and stationary engines.
