Yellowstone Rod Run brings in hundreds of classic cars
A little bit of rain couldn’t dampen the excitement of hundreds of classic car fans over the weekend, as the 45th annual Yellowstone Rod Run brought in cool cars for the whole town to enjoy. The annual car show brings rare vehicles and their owners from around North America and Canadian provinces for the three-day event.This year’s rod run kicked off last Thursday with vehicle registration and was followed by a cruise led by local artist Gary Carter to Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park early Friday morning.The classic cars returned to the town streets Saturday morning, as excited spectators greeted hundreds of cars owners during the parade, which ran up Canyon Street.Immediately following, all of the registered cars gathered at Pioneer Park for the Show and Shine, which filled the park to the brim with amazing classic cars and hot rods. During the Show and Shine, kids games and a poker walk were also held.
